Every December, Orem High is transformed into a tribute to the holiday season. Each hallway is decorated with care, and no window or door is barren. During the weeks leading up to Christmas break, students at Orem get to take in the festive decorations that their student government has created. According to Ms. Real, the Student Council advisor, the planning began in October and was completely student led. Each of the committees was tasked with decorating specific areas throughout the school with different themes. This year some of the themes include, ‘Elf’, ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’, ‘Christmas around the World’, ‘Santa’s Workshop’, and ‘The North Pole’ to name a few. These photos look into the OHS Student Council and their process of getting the school ready for Christmas.
