Mr. Wytiaz

Mr. Wytiaz was born and raised in Tampa Bay, Florida. This is his tenth year teaching math at Orem, and his students love him.

Contrary to many teachers, Mr. Wytiaz is all for dating in high school. He admits to using his seating charts for match-making among students, and even claims to take requests.

When asked about his thoughts on student relationships, he stated, “Your favorite flavor of ice cream isn’t meaningful if you’ve only licked a few ice cream cones. Go out a lot and with a lot of different people so that you know what the qualities that you care about look like within different people… Go ask someone out, right now. You can even blame me for it.”

Mr. Wytiaz is a popular teacher, and has had to turn down more than one prom invitation. He’s married, but apparently that was not reason enough to stop students from asking.

Quentin Bailey, an Orem High School alumni, says, “Mr. Wytiaz not only taught me math, but taught me how to win at life. He’s one of the best teachers at Orem High.”

Mr. Wytiaz is highly-appreciated for both the way he teaches, and the way he lives his life. If there is one thing he hopes students can learn from his class, it’s that they can figure out anything if they’re willing to think about it.
