Hormones. They’re all the rage with the youths nowadays. Boys with those hormones often wonder about their possible lifelong companion, who they could be, and how to attract them.

Boys in high school have evolved from Cootie-fearing children to teenage boys trying to figure out the extra X chromosome mystery.

The idea of a potential mate is essential to mammalian survival and even more so to the under-developed cerebral cortices of adolescents.

Many girls have one or more things that a guy can do, wear, or be that makes him more attractive.

“If a guy has blue eyes or if he has his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, he is instantly more attractive,” said Hayley Whitlock.

“A guy with a good smile or if he enjoys chick flicks, is to die for,” said Jenny Rowe.

Nice forearms
The ability to banter
A nice low voice
Saying the girl’s name out loud when it is least expected
