There are many different places to go in Utah County, including the many museums that are in this area. Most notable is the Bean Museum.

Brigham Young University has just renovated the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum. They have kept many of their original displays, such as the giraffes, the huge elephant, and the magnificent butterfly made out of individual butterflies.

They have added the Boyd K. Packer room with some pictures of his early years including his bomber pilot uniform during WWII. They have some of his paintings and his wood carvings of birds.

The upstairs is dedicated to Predator/Prey exhibits. They set up realistic scenes of what it would be like in the wild.

The Museum of Natural Curiosity, located at Thanksgiving Point, is a museum for all ages. They have some crazy exhibits. In one room they have a pole you can squeeze like a Python and you can see how strong you are compared to said Python. Another, you can see how many times you can flap your arms in a minute compared to a Hummingbird. This museum is more hands on and interactive.

These museums have a wider variety of activities to keep you interested.
