The Best “I Voted” Stickers

As silly as it sounds, “I Voted” stickers can be a big incentive for people to cast their ballots in presidential elections. A 2016 study shows that would-be voters are more motivated to vote when they can let others around them know that they’ve done so. “I Voted” stickers are a simple way to encourage people to vote.

Holding contests allowing the public to create their own designs for these stickers can ease some of the tension of the election, and can help make a stressful process more fun. Many of these contests take place among elementary to high schoolers, so there’s always plenty of variety. Some are cute, some show technical skill, and some are hilarious.

Over the years, some sticker designs have caught the internet’s attention. This year, Michigan held its first “I Voted” sticker contest. One of the winners was a depiction of a muscular werewolf ripping off its shirt in front of an American flag, created by a 12 year old girl named Jane Hynous. It quickly gained popularity, and the stickers are now being sold on Ebay for anywhere between $3-$100 apiece.

Throughout the years, there have been some pretty legendary “I Voted” stickers, so I scoured the web to find some of the best ones out there.

This viral sticker shows a muscular werewolf as it howls and rips its shirt to shreds in front of an American flag. I truly can’t think of a sticker that could better portray the American spirit than this one.

A deranged neon spider creature with a human head and rainbow colored teeth and hair. Or is he a deranged neon crab creature? Unclear, but I’m sure he’s a nice guy. He did vote, after all.

Simple, but effective. The charm of this sticker comes from its backwards letters and enthusiastic “yay”.
