Q: What is your full name?
A: Hillary Ann Braithwaite.
Q: What is the meaning of your name?
A: Hillary means bright, but there’s no story behind my name.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
A: I play piano a lot or I design houses. Or I just hangout with Russell, my boyfriend.
Q: What are you passionate about? Why?
A: I’m very passionate about speaking your mind. I think it’s important. I think a lot of people beat around the bush instead of saying it how you mean it, and it gets really confusing.
Q: What makes you unique?
A: Probably the way I think. I think it’s a good mixture of how things affect me and others. I feel like people think very strongly about how things will affect them or others completely on one side, but I feel like I have an interesting balance of both.
Q: What motivates you in life?
A: Wanting to be successful is the main thing. I really don’t want to fail or have a hard life.
Q: How would you describe yourself in two words? Why those two?
A: Stubborn and chaotic maybe? Stubborn just because that’s my personality, I like having my way a lot of the time and it can be hard to change my mind. Chaotic because I feel like my emotions change so often that it’s a little hard to keep up with a lot of the time.
Q: What is a vivid memory or experience you’ll never forget?
A: When I was like 7 or 8 I was with my best friend and we were riding our scooters around. We went around this corner and her brother was behind the shed and totally scared us. It’s really random but it’s definitely a vivid memory.
Q: What motivates your choice of outfit each day, what does it mean to you?
A: Half of the time I’m just trying to be comfy and there’s not much thought going into that. Then the other half of the time I just try to look nice, while trying not to be basic about what I wear, I try to make it a little interesting.
Q: What is the weirdest place you have fallen asleep?
A: I’ve fallen asleep outside a lot like on the grass. A lot of the time in the summer I’ll go outside and I’ll take naps.
Q: What is your motto?
A: Be yourself. I know it’s kind of basic but I think it’s a good motto.
